PROJECT DESCRIPTION<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>

The project falls under the category \u201cExpansion and Modernization of the capacity of an existing business establishment\u201d and has been implemented within the framework of the Action \u201cEconomic Transformation of the Agricultural Sector\u201d includes expenses that promote the green transition and digital transformation of the unit, which are the main conditions for the inclusion of investment projects in the specific subproject 1 \u201cInnovation and Green Transition in Agricultural Product Processing\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

In summary, the investment aiming at the modernization and expansion of the existing processing unit includes:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

PURPOSE AND RESULTS<\/strong><\/h5>

\u00a0<\/p>

With the main purpose of SYKIKI being the development of the economy of thousands fig producers through the systematic and planned development of fig cultivation leading to the production of increased quality figs, always in combination with environmental care and ultimately to the processing and marketing of high quality and added value fig products, we proceeded with the modernization and expansion of the packaging plant by supplying new, modern and environmentally friendly mechanical equipment and the supply of means of transport for the safe transport of the products.<\/p>

This way we can also reduce expenses and increase the level of competitiveness internationally where we operate.<\/p>

Indicatively :<\/p>

\u2022 Decrease of the production cost with new mechanical equipment in packaging for 30-40% depending on the parallel achievement of improvement of the environmental footprint<\/p>

\u2022 Decrease of raw material transportation cost for approximately 26%<\/p>

\u2022 Increase of cold storage chamber capability at 77% with energy cost decrease by 50-55% depending the storage product<\/p>

\u2022 Saving energy cost by 92% through a solar panel system of 100kwatt capability, only for lighting energy, saving is more than 50%<\/p>

\u2022 Thermal insulation from roof replacement leads to an improvement in working conditions (temperature) for personnel and product storage conditions by 5\u00b0C with a corresponding benefit in energy costs<\/p>
